In my opinion, Trudeau has not absolutely overcome his high school anxiety. As he mentions from the beginning of the text that for the rest of his days, he shall be a recovering short person. He also states: "the impact of being literally looked down on, of being made to feel small, is forever". According to Trudeau, "adolescent hierarchies have a way of enduring".

He has not completely overcome his high school anxiety. It is because he was bullied by his classmates about his height. This experience left a scar on the bottom of his heart.Therefore, he has still a shrimp inside.
“I am sure I am recalled as the Midget I myself have never really left behind”, I think Trudeau has never forgot his obsession at the high school. According to “My Inner Shrimp” Trudeau told us about his anxiety when he was school-age. He remembered clearly what happened to him so many years ago. This means he has never forgot his anxiety. He told his story just like it happened yesterday. Many years after teenager, Trudeau has thought about his fear “The night I found myself sobbing in my father’s arm was the low point; we both knew it was one problem he couldn’t fix”. Deeply inside his mind the obsession with his Midget-status is still here.

According to different belief in each culture or society, the height of the people might be important or not and people may think that taller people can be more attractive. There are some different reasons for the short height, but I think the main reason can be genetic problem. Genetic problem can causes some people grow up with some delay Especially, it maybe more crucial about the men in young age, and led to some delusion for them. These people, specifically in younger age, may suffer from their short height and try different method for increasing their height, but almost none of them can help them. Those people who have some difficulty with their height, may loss their self-confidence and cause some inevitable consequences. They never forget their bad experiences in their different situation, and they don’t want to repeat them. For instance some students may make fun of them an attribute some inappropriate words that irritate them.
However, as the passage has mentioned, Trudean, a short height student, has tried to conquer to his short height, but he hadn’t been able to find a suitable way. He was suffering from his short height, when his classmates humiliated him. Although, he had spent much time and money for his problem, but he couldn’t solve his problem, until he grew up, and realize that he had not any trouble with his height, but he cannot forget anxiety with his problem.
Even though He got luckly taller than high school Midgets, that doesn't mean he overcame the inner worries. As veterans are comfortable with his old battlefield, he was likely to adjust small studio with lower ceiling. Maybe he remembered the old days or something. In case that he completely defeated the bad memories, he, I think, could act like bullies, making fun of other week people as if he didn't have those experiences. How sad!
However, it was actually a good experience for him because he could have more simpathy on short peope than others, and he could be more tolerable to scorns or jeers of other people. Those are very helpful for him.
Before we are adult, we have a fragile self-esteem as a teenager. So, we may feel pain easy by weak point like short height.when he was high school student, he was short and taller boys who took in his school ignored and teased him.
So, he was painful and wanted to be tall guy. Afterward he was stretching and then he shot up six inches when he was seventeenth years old. When he was high school student, he was never able to overcome his condition and under the weather. We can know about this in these parts that "And yet the impact of being literally looked down on, of being made to feel small, is forever". and “The night I found myself sobbing in my father’s arm was the low point; we both knew it was one problem he couldn’t fix”. He is tall right now and he want to show up to his peers before more shrink.
In the certain, Trudeau has not completely overcome his high school anxiety because he mentions that he has the soul of a shrimp. Although he has tried and got the success in improving his heigh, he can not escape the feeling that his is a " Midget". according to him, the inferiority complex endures forever: "And yet the impact of being literally look down o, of being made to feel small, is forever" and "...I'm sure i am still recalled as the Midget i myself have never really left behind". And many things can remind him remembering the past easily. For instance, once he was looking for his office, a building with short ceiling made him feel that his ignominious was coming.
I do not think he already overcome his complex about height.
First, according to this article, the author said “I have the soul of a shrimp.” It means that he still remember that he was short. Second reason why I think he doesn’t overcome his complex is his memory about his complex is so fresh and vivid. Author gives an example that he was sobbing in his father’s arms because of his height. This kind of his memory is really vivid. It seems like that it was happened recently. Even though the time is already passed, I think he can’t remove this memory. That is why I think he has apparently not overcome his high school anxiety.
Trudeau hasn’t completely overcome his high school anxiety and he has mentioned that in the article. This feeling was clearly in the last paragraph which he wished to return to the high school to surprise his classmates. Although he doubted all his classmates would remember, he was sure he is recalled as the midget and he has never left that behind. In this case, we can say he couldn’t overcome on his anxiety and still feels that forever.

According to the passage, Trudeau has not completely overcome his high school anxiety. In spite of, he is not a ‘Midjet’ anymore; he hesitates to meet fellows at his high school. He cannot remove indelible memorizes which he get during his high school days because the shrimp is already too deep in his inner mind.
